I am 26 years old. I am a General Psychologist and I am currently completing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. So I live in Samaná and really like to get to know different places and go to the beach, river, etc.

I’m a geographer and sociologist focused on peace culture, social development, and conflict management/resolution. I had participated in community projects in more than 40 locations both within Latin America and Southern Africa. I am Doctor in Sociology from the University of Zagreb and Doctor in Cultural and Social Studies of Mesoamerica and the Caribbean from the Autonomous University of the State of Quintana Roo.

I’m a historian, social entrepreneur, idealist and a woman with a strong desire to contribute to social, environmental and educational change in the world. I am convinced that transformation begins with educational models that foster among girls, boys, and young people their capacity for independence, love for nature, cultures, and collaborative work. That is why we are here!

I graduated in International Relations from the UAEQROO (Universidad pública del Estado de Quintana Roo). I’m a hotel entrepreneur, traveler, and videography & aerial photography enthusiast. I speak five languages and I am always willing to translate and help. In fact, I firmly believe in conflict resolution through dialogue. I consider myself a global citizen who likes to act local.

From Chalma, Mexico. People know me locally as a “culture ambassador” and main promoter of the International Folklore Festival for more than five years. I am a person with strong social and political convictions. Basically I used to be the coordinator of the office for Family Integral Development of the municipality of Malinalco. I studied pedagogy at the University Institute of the State of Mexico.
