Peace Villages Foundation

NGO Administration

This internship/volunteer placement gives a glimpse into the day-to-day running of a small, grassroots NGO. The NGO Administration Intern would work with Volunteer/Programs Coordinator(s) and the PVF director, primarily in administrative work and community outreach.

The NGO Administration Intern program is a very versatile program, giving insight into the many facets of running Peace Villages. This placement will provide the intern/volunteer with a good deal of responsibility in ensuring the successful functioning of our programs. Primarily a volunteer support-focused position, this role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the various PVF programs (PVF normally has anywhere between 2 and 15 volunteers working in the various programs and living on the PVF grounds, in hotels, or with host families). The NGO Administration intern will have a natural interest in meeting new people, be passionate about ensuring a positive experience for each volunteer, and will enjoy being called upon to assist with general administration of the foundation.
