Ecological Building/Carpentry
Ideal if
you enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of the countryside
On the ecological building project you can also hone your Spanish skills as you work side by side
with our local grounds-maintenance workers. Assist with one of our most important projects: the expansion of
our multi-faceted Community &
Therapeutic
Riding facilities for local children and young people with special
needs. This placement is for the creative, innovative
pioneer spirited idealist person who really loves the
challenge of helping to coordinate and expand Aldeas de Paz
activities on the grounds! We are building an ecological
school to help young kids gain an alternative education.
This is a great opportunity to share your skills and make a
sustainable difference to a community that really needs it.

Help construct an ecological school on the Aldeas de Paz
campus

Doing all sorts of carpentry projects in our fully stocked
workshop

Helping in the construction of a playground and other
facilities for therapy on the Aldeas de Paz grounds

Renovation/maintenance of rooms, gardens, recreational
facilities and workshops
-
Wood/stone work, including construction/maintenance of the
Therapeutic Horse Riding
facilities
-
Assist with maintenance and improvement of existing
infrastructure
- Assistance with day-to-day tasks, collaboration on
projects using local ecological materials
 Requirements:
No previous experience required. However, Volunteers with experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Energy and enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task and
follow through to completion with assigned tasks are very
helpful. Team player - willingness to be involved. Proactive
and results focused attitude, with ability to take
initiative.
