This experience and observation program is perfect for those wanting to learn more about how a small grass-roots NGO is managed and those interested in starting their own charity or working in an NGO!
The NGO Administration Volunteers and Interns observe and assist the Volunteer Program Coordinator and the Aldeas de Paz director primarily in administrative and organizational work and the coordination and supervision of community programs.
The best and most amazing thing about this whole trip were all the people I worked/played with.

The NGO Administration Volunteer and Intern program gives insight into all of the many facets of the running of the Aldeas de Paz Foundation.
Primarily a volunteer support-focused position, this role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the various ADP programs. ADP normally has anywhere between 4 and 12 volunteers working in the various programs and living on the Aldeas de Paz grounds, in hostals, apartments or with host families.
It’s possible to grow old, and still keep the ideas you had when you were 20 years old. You just have to never forget and always follow them.

The NGO Administration volunteer and intern will have a
natural interest in meeting new people, be passionate about ensuring a
positive experience for each volunteer and enjoys being called upon to
assist with general administration of the foundation, as well as
participating in each of the social programs as necessary.

In addition for volunteers with more advanced Spanish language

No previous experience or special skills are required
A typical NGO administration & management volunteer and intern needs to be enthusiastic, willing to learn, ready for a challenge and have a desire to take initiative in coordinating a group of volunteers and daily tasks.
Friendliness, care, commitment and patience are among
important qualities.
The participant would have a passion for development work,
some experience in international volunteering, and a desire to
help other volunteers to have positive
experiences with us.
Conversational or advanced Spanish is needed for some activities but even without spanish language skills there is a lot to do.
Activities that a volunteer can participate in are entirely
dependent on their proficiency in Spanish and previous experience.
Staff and other volunteers will support the participant. A six weeks
minimum time commitment is required.
