Multi-Media Travel Journalist

This non-profit project started in May 2007 and its mission is to bring awareness and economic help to the areas of animal welfare, human rights, and environmental conservation, through artistic methods such as writing, photography and documentaries. Latin America and the Philippines are actual project's destinations.

This program is organized and coordinated by a Partner NGO overseas

We offer their fantastic program on our website. The aim is that volunteers sign up with this extremely exiting program and travel to the project site in the philippines on their behalf.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career in Travel Journalism

and project management for NGO operations. Aldeas de Paz offers a internship/ apprenticeship with our partner NGO in the philippines. After a successful initial period it is entirely possible for the intern/volunteer to become an independent Travel Journalist for the partner NGO and to begin working in various other continents.

Aims and objectives

  • Create awareness about animal welfare, human rights and environmental conservation, and show the common links between these areas
  • Encourage youth to live out their dreams whilst positively contributing to the environment, animals and humanity
  • Encourage people to experience the rewards of humanitarian help, animal welfare, and environmental efforts firsthand
  • Acknowledge people from many different countries who contribute to the world with positive action and intention
  • Improve relations between NGO´s in many different countries and facilitate networking

How the aims and objectives will be achieved

  • Connecting people emotionally to the passion of activists through artistic and creative media content published online and on site on public expositions
  • Bringing attention to the challenges faced by orphanages, schools, community groups, animal sanctuaries, and environmental and conservation projects
  • Acting worldwide as a cultural and social ambassador for the countries involved
  • Providing impoverished people with information and options to become involved in volunteering for their communities
  • Through inspiring motivational speeches given to school students and prospective volunteers in various countries of South America, Australia, US and Europe
  • In order to achieve this, support is needed from the community, including the business sector and individuals
