Why would I want to volunteer AND pay donations?

The uniqueness of our charity lies in its self-sufficiency. It is not sponsored or funded by any entity, be it religious or governmental. We are funded and therefore temporarily co-owned by our volunteers. As a volunteer here you are empowered (enfranchised) and even requested to let your own creativity shape the course and goals of the foundation in the community, hands-on. We believe volunteering to be about contribution

With us you get full daily support by our long-term staff, immerse yourself in the projects that are already up and running, while you start developing your own ideas that you may wish to contribute and then put in place with our support and resources. [+] Find out where your money goes

We are operated by long and short-term volunteers

Our Volunteers are of all ages, races and nationalities. Volunteering with us is a great opportunity to work side by side with locals, learn new skills, study Spanish and immerse oneself in the Latin and indigenous culture. You don't have to speak fluent Spanish as we provide full support and 24 hour back-up from our local staff. Free Spanish language classes are provided. We enjoy a great community atmosphere at our cooperative living residents in a spectacular natural setting.
