Work in a stunning location and make friends
Peace Villages Foundation headquarters are in
Santa Elena de Uairén, the heart of the incredible Gran Sabana
National Park in Venezuela. We are at the center of a spectacular
region, near the border with Brazil and Guyana. Our volunteers work
in one of the world's most impressive biological reserves, and enjoy
a very comfortable climate.

Our
community programs in areas such as
environmental conservation,
youth care & community,
therapeutic horse riding,
teaching & tutoring,
alternative education,
ecological building
and medicine &
healthcare all contribute to the betterment of the community of
Santa Elena.
Volunteers enjoy participating in schools, youth and
daycare centers and the hospital in direct contact with the
lovely people of Santa Elena, as well as working in stunning
locations in the national park
and forest reserves, on our
Foundation Grounds and
in small Pemón indigenous villages.
Minimum placement is 1 week - Maximum 1 year.
